Soft Foods for Breeding Birds & Chicks

While hand-rearing chicks is a complex task, it is one of the greatest joys of keeping birds.

Feeding your chicks soft food is the best way to ensure your birds grow up healthy and strong.

We're showcasing two soft food mixes that are formulated to work both as a hand-rearing mix for young chicks, and also to bring adult birds to peak breeding condition. 

Topflite's premium Egg & Biscuit (Dutch) Soft Food is created in the European style. It’s a nutritionally balanced blend of cereals, seeds, yeast, egg powder, milk powder and vitamin supplements, making it an ideal conditioning and rearing soft food. This soft food for birds do not contain soy products.

As a high protein blend, this bird food works both to bring adult birds to peak breeding condition and to raise healthy, robust chicks. To feed, simply mix with boiling water to a crumbly consistency, at 1 teaspoon soft food to 4 teaspoons boiling water per bird.

This soft food for birds is specially formulated for all caged birds, aviaries and Pigeons during the breeding and conditioning. This soft food is ideal for Finches, Canaries, Budgies, Love Birds, Parrots, Doves, Pigeons and other small birds.

To feed, simply dampen with water, place in a clean dish, and replace daily.
